Introduction

This privacy policy describes how PARICI HOTEL collects, uses and protects the personal data of visitors to its site and of its guests, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collection

We collect the data you provide to us directly, in particular via the contact form (name, email address, message) or when making a booking. Some browsing data may be collected automatically for audience-measurement purposes.

Purposes of processing

Your data is used to:

• respond to your contact and information requests;
• manage your bookings and your stay;
• improve our services and the running of the site.

Data retention

Your data is kept for the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, then deleted or anonymised.

Cookies and audience measurement

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse the use of non-essential cookies. No audience-measurement or marketing cookie is set before your consent: to this end we use Google Consent Mode v2, which blocks these trackers by default until you have given your agreement.

We distinguish three categories:

• Essential cookies: required for the site to work properly (they do not require consent);
• Audience measurement: anonymised visit statistics via Google Analytics 4, deployed through Google Tag Manager;
• Marketing: measurement of bookings made through our booking engine and, where applicable, advertising.

As part of measuring bookings made through our booking engine Mews, and only if you have accepted the “Marketing” category, the email address linked to the booking may be sent to Google (in a secure/hashed form) to improve conversion measurement. This transfer does not take place without consent.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clicking the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of each page. You can also set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when they are set.

Your rights

Third parties and providers

Your data is neither sold nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be shared with our technical providers solely in the course of delivering our services, in particular:

• Mews: booking engine (managing bookings and stays);
• Google Ireland Ltd.: audience measurement (Google Analytics) and tag management (Google Tag Manager), subject to your consent;
• our hosting provider, for the technical running of the site.

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Union; such transfers are governed by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
